So every once in a while we have an impromptu photo shoot at the Stout house :) Here are some of the results of one of the many photo sessions! By the way, these pants are supposed to be capri pants...welcome to my world Joes!

Joey is so much fun these days! She is starting to wave "bye bye". It's a bit inconsistent, but we capture that in this video :) Sorry for the no so steady hand in this shot, I was laying on my tummy on the landing of our stairs...not the best angle, but the girl needed some motivation!

10 months old!

Today Joey is 10 months old!  I can't believe how fast these months have gone by!  We are already starting to plan her 1st Birthday Party....yikes!  Anyway, here are some recent pics...enjoy!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Johnny had to work at a gymnastics meet today, so Joey and I went to go see him at work!  Joey is loving walking these days!  She does not want to sit down ever.  Here is a picture of her walking with Johnny.  Check out how long her pants are.  She will be 10 months in 9 days and her pants are size 3-6 months!  They are so long just like her mommy's 

pants!

She had so much fun with daddy that she had to take a nap :)

  I left Joey with Johnny for about 2 hours while I went to an art class with Kelli, Kristy, and Liz.  Here is a picture of what I  painted :)

Of coarse I had to act goofy during the picture.  The painting is supposed to be me and Johnny on a romantic Valentine's date :)  Instead, we were at the gym!  It was good though, because Johnny wasn't coaching that much, so we really did get to hang out alot!  Overall, GREAT DAY!!

9 month appointment..........

So yesterday we took Joey in for her 9 month check up. The Doc said she looked great and seems to be right on track with kids her own age as far as growth and development. She is 16lbs 10oz, and 26 3/4 inches tall! Her weight is in the 10th percentile which means that 10% of babies her age weigh what she weighs. The Doc said this is not a bad thing, she is happy and healthy and the girl can eat! Her height is in the 18th percentile which means...you guessed it....18% of babies her age are the same height as her. She said that she is on track to be about 5'1". Not sure how accurate that measurement is, but it sure does sound good! She may outgrow her mommy :) During the appointment, Joey was delightful as usual, laughing and checking herself out in the mirror. We love our Pediatrician, so if you are in the McKinney area and needing one, feel free to ask who ours is! Joey is growing up so fast, and Johnny and I love her more and more each day! When people tell you that once you have a baby you can't imagine your life without that baby, they weren't kidding! I loved the time Johnny and I had as a couple, and look forward to that time when our kiddos are grown up and out of the house, but I am loving this time as new parents! Johnny is such an amazing dad, and we try to attack parenthood with teamwork! I am so excited to see how Joey grows, and am anxious to learn from her daily! She is a great teacher in the areas of patience, peace, joy, humor, and more! Have I mentioned I love my daughter?? We I do!
