Yummy Ice Cream Sandwiches

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! YUMMO!!

Lovin' This Weather!!

So the weather has been great here in McKinney, Tejas! We have been taking advantage each day when I get Joey from Miss Holli's house! Here are some pics :) Joey's favorite outside thing right now is to play with the basketball. We roll it and she chases it, picks it up, drops it, rolls it down the hills, and more! Enjoy the fun!

She kept throwing her water down...grrrrrr! She of course thought it was hilarious!

Joey has a hard time changing surfaces. This is one of the reasons we are going on more and more walks with her. She gets mad when we don't help her off of steps, but we know it's helping :) C'mon Joey, you can do it!!

Once she finally made it down into the grass, she found all sorts of fun things in the field next to our house. Here is a big green thing :) They were having a staring competition!

Here's another green thing?!? Not sure what these are, but Joey hasn't been electrocuted yet, so I guess they are ok??

We also saw a plane the other day and Joey loved it! It kept her attention for as long as we could see it!

Today we were hanging outside, and Joey has decided that the curb is her favorite seat. I think she likes it because she can sit and her feet still touch the floor! I know the feeling Joey :) Mommy likes when her feet touch too :)

Awwwwwwww!

Getting distracted during our little photo shoot! Focus Joey, Mommy's over here!!!

This is a classic modeling move...the over the shoulder look! I love it!

We were heading back into the house, and Joey kept telling daddy "no ball". She didn't want him to help her :) And so it begins!

Again, we are really enjoying this great weather! We are hoping it continues...we are having so much fun outside!!!

Joey's Going To Be a Big Sister!!!

Yippppeeeeeee! Today we found out that Joey is going to be a big sister! My allergies have been really bad lately, and I remember them being bad when I found out I was preggo with Joey. I got curious and took a pregnancy test. Well actually I took the test twice just like I did with Joey, and both came out positive!! I have my first appointment on Tuesday with Miss Carolyn. She is the person who coordinates all the births at Craig Ranch OBGYN. She rocks and we had her last time too! I can't wait to see her and get the scoop on Stout Seed #2!

Size 4

So Joey's feet have been growing and now she is officially a size 4! (Well a 3.5 according to the lady at Payless :) Anywho, we just dug out some fun shoes from the mall of Mily and had to take 'em for a spin! Here is an account of our walk the other night when it stopped raining for a short time :)

Here we go!

Of course we had to pick up the gross newspaper and inspect it!

I like to believe Joey is marching in this one, but alas, she is just hightailing it toward mama, and this was the result!

Wow, that was quick!

Easily distracted! C'mon Joey!

Oh look, a puddle...the only puddle on our whole walk...might as well step in it!

This particular battle went on for a few minutes. This is the entrance to our community pool. Joey loves the pool and knows this is how we get in. She stood at the door for a few minutes and even threw herself on the ground in protest. I just laughed and picked her up...she was fine!

The rest of the trip has no pictures because I was holding Joey....she was tired! All in all a good trial run on her 1st size 4 shoes!!

Long Time No Write....

So things have been pretty uneventful at the Stout house! I guess that can be a good thing right? As far as Joey goes, she keeps getting bigger, smarter and more stubborn :) We are working on sharing our toys and being nice to friends. She does a great job 99% of the time , but we have room for improvement! We had Joey's friends Madison and Hannah over the other day to play for a little while, and this is what the living room looked like 10 minutes after the girls arrived :)

Joey and Madison had fun feeding their babies in the highchair! I gave them each a bowl and spoon and some baby bottles to get the job done. Joey got frustrated during this process...she kept saying "baby", so I would get her baby out of the highchair and give it to her. I guess that's not what she was implying when she was saying "baby" over and over again because she just started crying! I finally figured out that she wanted to sit in the high chair. Obviously she is too big, but I let her try it, and she was fine after that! At one point during the play time, Joey was trying to nudge Madison away from the front of the high chair, and Madison, who is only 3, looked at Joey and said "It's ok Joey, we are sharing!". She's so stinkin cute, and smart! Go Madison! Tonight Joey gets to spend the night at her Aunt Vicky's house! I remember staying at my Aunt Patti's house growing up, and we had a blast! I know Joey is little, but this is just the first of many Aunt Vicky sleepovers! They are gonna have so much fun :) Have a good weekend everyone!

Great Weekend!!

So this weekend was awesome! Johnny went back to school this week, and he survived, but was in need of some reebs and wings, so we started out at Hooters on Friday night with our dear friends Brian and Kelly...Holler!!! Grandma had Joey, and it was fun to go out and eat wings and drink some reebs without the baby! After that we ventured to the PGA store. If you have never made it to this place, you have to go! It is so much fun to just walk around and putt, chip or even hit drivers! Not a golfer? There is a full sized tennis court inside too! We went and picked up Joes, headed home and fell fast asleep!!

Saturday was great too! Joey let us sleep in till 8:30 which was nice! Thanks Joey :) We got up, made some cinnamon rolls, then got on the bikes to head to the church. I had Christmas Festival tryouts, and while I was singing, Joey and Johnny played on the new toddler playground at church. I came out to join them when I was done. The playground is awesome, and just the right size for Joey! She can go down all the slides on her own because they aren't too slick! Here is a picture of her playing in a little play house they have a the park too!

We rode home and took a nap! Joey slept about 3 hours, and Johnny and I slept about 2 :) It was great! We woke up and ate some lunch, then headed to the new splash park in town. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it was fun, and Joey had a blast! We even ran into our friend Kelly and his kiddos Carter and Hannah! Here are some pics of Joey and Johnny enjoying the splash park...

We got home ate dinner and put Joey to bed! I have been on a brownie kick this summer, so I made some of those! YUM!!!

Today we woke up, went to church (awesome message Rafe...always hits you right where it counts :), came home, took a nap, went to Stonebriar to check out the new Apple store (it's awesome), came home, and lastly went to Fuddruckers! Phew...that was a lot :) Here is a pic of Joey enjoying her fries dipped in ketsup! She insisted on dipping them herself, and she did a pretty good job!

So that's it for now! What a great weekend..we didn't have to be anywhere, didn't have to do anything! We thank God for these weekends, as they are few and far between these days!

The Results Are In!!!!!!

So a couple of weeks ago I wrote about Joey's 15 month check up. If you didn't read about that, click here to get caught up. I got the call from our doctor today and Joey does not have Turner's Syndrome! I was so convinced that she did have it that I didn't really know what to say when they said her test came out normal. I actually asked for a second opinion on reading the test results. The second result reading was the same! Anyway, just wanted to update everyone!
